I am subletting my wonderful room in a generously sized apartment. The apartment building is a four-minute walk to the next express subway station and you'll be downtown and in Brooklyn in no time.
My roommate is a very sweet, mature, and respectful grad student who will respect your privacy.
The room is furnished with a Queen bed, a desk and chair, drawers, a mirror, and some plants.
Laundry is in the building's basement, the apartment has a generously sized, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and tub, and a large living and dining room. The street is very calm and tree-lined, St. Nicholas Park, Riverbank State Park, and City College are short walks away and the lively neighborhood has plenty of bars, great food spots, and grocery stores.
I am a grad student and have lived and sublet many different places across many different countries. It is important to me that a tenant respects the shared space, can politely communicate, cleans up after themselves, and does not bother my roommate when he's working from home (which he sometimes does). We had great experiences with previous subletters and are looking for someone who is easy to live with.
You'll need to sign a sublet agreement with me, the security deposit will be $500. If you are interested, please respond to this listing and we can set up a zoom call. I am currently out of the country, so I cannot show you around personally. If you are in the city and everything seems compatible, I'll connect you with my roommate for a tour of the apartment.
