Hi all! Thank you to everyone who's reached out wanting to stay in my incredible apartment! I tried to get back to as many people as possible, but if I didn't respond please know I got a bajillion responses and had to prioritize finding someone whose dates lined up with my own :)
I have someone starting on April 1, so just looking for someone who's like to sublet the rest of this month. I have a daily rate posted but just reach out if you want to stay the whole time and we can work something out.
Just to clarify, this is my home, I'm just bicoastal! I'm in LA for several months at a time, but I do need to be at home in NYC a few times a year -- I usually time it during the summer and over the holidays. So! I'd love to find someone interested in either taking this place until the summer, OR someone who wants to take it for longer but has summer vacation plans and would be okay with me coming in town while they're gone (obviously you wouldn't pay rent during that time).
I had this kind of arrangement a few times and it actually worked out perfectly for everybody!
But, if you have other needs, please reach out and let's chat -- just know that I can't commit to dates beginning in May, etc before I have someone for March :)
Reach out with any other questions!

Bicoastal artist. This has been my family's apartment for 18 years so rest assured that it is well furnished, cozy, and has everything you need!
Yes, this is a very nice apartment and it's very expensive -- like everyone else my rent skyrocketed after covid. And because of that, I now get two very different types of people reaching out about it: those who are so excited about waking up in such pretty place, and those who think nothing will ever be good enough for them. If you're the latter, that's too much stress on both of us, so something more commercial would probably be a better fit.
But! If you're someone who just really loves pretty spaces with incredible light and that intangible feeling of relief and clarity every time you walk through the door, this is definitely the place for you and I hope to hear from you soon.
Basic sublet agreement
Let's chat - I'm a super pro pet person and I know how stressful it can be finding a place where you feel like you're not walking on eggshells with your furbabies. Dogs and cats are both fine, just please no critters who are destructive, shed like crazy, or are super vocal -- I've been in this building for 18 years with no issues and I'd love to keep the peace with me neighbors :)
