I am renting a room in my conveniently located 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Pilsen (nearest major intersection is 18th/Ashland). This is a family-owned apartment, on the top floor with a very sunny front room and front stoop. Walking distance to multiple grocery stores (Casa Del Pueblo, Cermak, Aldi) and many businesses on and off 18th (Cafe Jumping Bean, Sleepwalk, the Giant Penny Whistle, Alulu Brewery etc.)

The open room is the primary bedroom with a private bathroom, private entrance, a large closet and a back porch (see photos).

The apartment has a big living room with a TV and lots of plants, fully outfitted kitchen, central heating/AC, access to storage space in the attic, and IN-UNIT laundry.

My current roommate is moving out because she's relocating to Nevada, so I’m looking to fill the room by November 1st. Rent is $1000 + utilities (usually about ~$75-100 month).

My name is Ezra, I'm 33, just completed my PhD in Biology. As a roommate, I keep things really clean, and I keep pretty regular hours. I tend to let you do your thing while I do mine. But I do like the occasional hang out to watch a movie, grab a bite etc. I navigate issues by finding a time to check and in and talk through them. Personality wise, I can come off as pretty serious but I am a lot more goofy once you get to know me. I am open minded and enjoy all types of people.
