We are looking for a third housemate to join us in our two-floor house and rent the primary bedroom!
The primary bedroom in our home is huge (20ft long x 10ft wide), with a massive closet and nice sunset lighting through its two west-facing windows.
We’ve lived here for 3 years and are renewing the lease for a 4th year (the roommate in the primary bedroom is moving out).
We are in a great and quiet location in Brooklyn but close to all the action in Fort Greene park, Vinegar Hill, downtown Brooklyn, and close to the Manhattan bridge to go downtown.
We are also near the Wegmans and have a new CitiBike station right outside the house (along with the a bus stop right out front too).
The house has washer/dryer, a big kitchen, hardwood floors, and even a backyard… it’s pretty big for being in the heart of Brooklyn!
We're looking for someone who is chill like us and just wants a quiet, clean place to hang and sleep as we're both busy professionals working in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
If that sounds like you, and if you want a cheap, easy, and spacious setup with chill roommates, then come on by and check us out!
Best,
Alex
I (Alex) am a 30-year old guy who runs a startup in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. I've lived in NYC for 7 years now.
The other roommate (Bronsin) is also a 30-year old guy who has his own furniture company in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He's lived in NYC for 11 years.
We both like to keep the place generally clean but we don't stress out too much if sometimes it gets a little lived in -- we just ask that everyone chips in and stays on top of it within reason.
We are the current tenants
Our landlord, a lovely family who lives in our row of houses, just requires their standard check to ensure you can meet the financial obligations of joining the lease.
Then, it's first month's rent and security deposit to be paid upfront.
Electricity is not included in the rent and are usually between $30-60 per person per month. Internet is $33 per person per month.
