A block from Home Depot and a ten-minute walk from Blick Art Materials, this is the kind of studio that doesn’t show up often: bright, private, with consistent north light and open skyline views of Manhattan from the fourth floor. Thirteen-foot ceilings. Large operable windows. Fresh air. Lofted storage overhead. The space is relaxed, comfortable, and secure with regular maintenance.
We’re between Bed-Stuy and South Williamsburg, surrounded by cafes and convenience, close to the G, J, M, and Z, with easy access into Manhattan.
We have two spots (C & D) opening in a suite of five, and we’re looking for the right person to fill it. The suite is shared by a small and interesting group: an architect-sculptor, a museum professional-painter, and a set designer, people who are committed to their work and respect that others are too. There’s a shared rhythm here, and a genuine sense of creative community.
The space is best suited for painters, designers, and focused creative practices. The space is located within a network of other creative practices with optional open studios each season. If this feels like the kind of place you've been looking for, reach out.
