As I'm relocating for work, I'm looking for someone to take over my share of the lease for this beautiful 3BD/1BR apartment in East Harlem on November 1. The lease runs through July 31, 2026, with the option to renew. Per the landlord's preference, this would be a long-term sublet rather than an assignment.

The apartment is the full top floor of a brownstone on a quiet street, with in-unit laundry and a dishwasher. You'd have exclusive use of two of the rooms—I've used one (15' x 9') as a bedroom and the other (7' x 14') as an office during my time here. It's a great arrangement for someone who works hybrid or remotely. The apartment is north/south facing, so both rooms get beautiful light throughout the day. The wardrobe you'll see in the bedroom photos will stay for your use.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of both the 103rd and 110th 6 stops, numerous grocery stores and restaurants, and the Conservatory at Central Park. It's a 15 minute walk from Mount Sinai, a 20 minute bus ride from Columbia University, and about 20 minutes from Midtown.

Your roommate would be a lovely PhD student at nearby Mount Sinai. You'd also share the space with her very friendly dog.

Preference will be given to someone interested in both rooms, but groups of two or those interested in a single room are also welcome to reach out.
