We are seeking an experienced and motivated Floor Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on management position for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and understands how great service is built through strong communication between Front of House and Back of House.
Candidates with kitchen experience or a strong understanding of kitchen operations will be given priority consideration, as effective FOH–BOH collaboration is central to our service philosophy.
Qualifications:
*Previous experience as a Floor Manager, Supervisor, or similar leadership role in a restaurant
*Strong understanding of hospitality, service standards, and guest relations
*Kitchen experience or knowledge of kitchen operations is a strong plus
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Ability to lead calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
*Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
*NYC restaurant experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and oversee daily floor operations during service
*Actively manage the guest experience, resolving issues in real time with professionalism and care
*Support, supervise, and coach FOH staff during shifts
*Coordinate service flow between FOH and BOH to ensure smooth execution
*Ensure adherence to service standards, cleanliness, and safety procedures
*Train new staff and support ongoing team development
*Communicate post-shift feedback and operational notes to senior management
