Available is a small bedroom (11' x 10') with one east-facing window. This room is in a charming, second-floor apartment in a historic house with a front porch on a cute street near the Rondout district in Kingston, within walking distance to the Roundout shops, galleries, and restaurants, and a small cemetery. Some attic storage is available.

The room will have a full-size bed on a metal frame. You will need to provide the rest. :) The space is currently my studio.

I would like to start with a 3-6 month sublet with the possibility of a longer sublet.

I'm originally from Ohio and lived in NYC for the last 12 years. I moved to Kingston over the last year. I have a one-bedroom apt. in NYC and work between both locations at the moment.

I'm a 43 yr old, white woman (she/her), visual artist and painting business owner. I'm an ambivert who likes a good conversation, but also values quiet time and privacy. I am looking for a roommate who wants to make a home and build a cooperative friendship.

Cleanliness is important in a shared space. I prefer to have an agreement on kitchen and bathroom cleaning responsibilities. I feel most at peace in a clean home.

My painting studio will be relocated to the garage space at the end of the driveway (on street parking as the driveway is shared with neighbors). I will be working from home part-time and in NYC.

Friends and family are important to me, and I love being able to have people stop by or visit occasionally. I sometimes like hosting dinner parties, but I generally spend a lot of time alone, working/painting, at the gym, reading, and relaxing.
