Hi! I'm looking for a roommate to rent one bedroom for August 15th move-in in prime Clinton Hill/Bed Stuy.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a walk up on Gates Ave. The room is 11.5 ' x 10.5 ' with big windows, gets the best sunlight in the apartment, and is fully unfurnished. The room has a closet and additional storage space above the closet.

It's a 7 minute walk to the G Classon station and C Franklin station. There are so many walkable restaurants, cafes, and bars in the area. The shared spaces are already furnished and the landlord is responsive to any issues. The closest laundromat is 180 ft away and there are several others within a walking distance. I've lived in the apartment for 3 years and really enjoy the neighborhood. The other tenants in the building keep to themselves, but are nice.

I'm chill and sometimes social so while I don’t have many guests over, I do have the occasional dinner party or host a small women's gathering. Since I'm the main tenant and have put time into the shared spaces, I'm looking for someone who will enjoy and be respectful of the shared spaces. I clean up after myself within the day and am looking for someone who is similarly clean, tidy, and respectful. I’m fine if you want to have friends over or host something once in a while, but nothing too crazy please! No overnight guests unless they’re friends/family visiting from out of town.

I have a 20 lb low shed dog named Gustavo who is friendly, but occasionally barks when people are at the front door. No other pets please!
