I’m hoping to find other students/young professionals who are kind, respectful and empathetic to share a calm and cozy space with. I’m quite clean so I’d prefer my roommates to be the same.
I had my previous housing plans fall through, so I’m open to short term rentals while I find a place to settle, but ideally I’d like a long-term lease.
I’d like to be near a green space and grocery store (I cook often and poorly), ideally somewhere with a reasonably quick commute to Washington Square Park (where my work is). Im open to somewhere furnished but would prefer unfurnished.
If you think I’d be a good fit for your space please let me know!
P.S. I know another incoming NYU PhD who is looking for housing, so two available rooms would be amazing!
Hi there! I’m an incoming PhD student at NYU looking for a place to live as I start my degree! I’m 28 years old and use he/him pronouns.
For the past year and a bit I’ve lived in Queens and commuted to Cold Spring Harbor Lab where I was a researcher. Before that I spent 8 years in Vancouver getting my bachelors and masters degrees. I grew up in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada :)
I spend quite a bit of my time at work, but when I’m free I like to get dinner with friends, read fiction, watch movies, and FaceTime my partner who lives in Toronto. I also like to play team sports — I’ve gotten into volleyball this past year!
If you think we’d get along I’d love to hear from you :)
