Part-Time Retail Sales at Winter Pop-Up Holiday Market

We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, reliable sales associates to help our family-run business at the Bryant Park Holiday Market! We have been at the market for ~20 years and sell gloves, hats, scarves, and other winter accessories for the entire family.

This would be a great opportunity for college students or someone looking for a temporary, seasonal job with a flexible schedule.

Dates: early November to January 2 – we are less busy prior to Thanksgiving so hours may be shorter in the beginning and will ramp up after Thanksgiving.

Preferred times: Full-day Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays (~10am-6pm) and potentially Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday mornings (~9:30/10am-2pm).

While we don’t need you to have prior retail experience, we are looking for someone who can think on their feet and interact with customers in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment with a positive attitude.

The job entails:
- Welcome shoppers with warmth and hospitality
- Provide excellent customer service, sharing product knowledge and styling suggestions
- Restock inventory as needed after products have been sold
- Open the booth when scheduled
- Keep the booth clean and inviting
- Must be comfortable standing up for long periods of time in a heated outdoor holiday booth
- Must be punctual and arrive at scheduled shifts on time
- Multilingual is a plus
- Available to work during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks and weekends
