Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Associate to join the team at our newest boutique in the heart of the Upper East Side. As the face of Buru, you'll help our customers discover stylish, hyper-functional pieces that fit seamlessly into their busy lives. Your role is to provide an exceptional shopping experience that embodies Buru's values while helping us get acclimated in our new neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement, Product Knowledge, Visual Merchandising, Sales & Transactions, Inventory Management and Clienteling.
Qualifications:
-Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, especially in a fast-paced urban environment.
- Prior experience with Shopify and Shopify POS is not required but preferred
- A passion for fashion and a strong commitment to sustainability and ethical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide top-tier customer service and build lasting relationships with a diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a tight-knit team.
Compensation:
-This is a part time position based at BURU’s NYC store starting early September 2024.
-The hourly salary for this role ranges between $20-25/hour and will be set according to the applicant’s profile, skills and previous experience.
