Dot Reeder is seeking a Part-Time Sales Stylist / Brand Ambassador to join our NYC boutique team. This on-site role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, brings a strong sense of personal style, and enjoys being an active participant in the brand—both on the sales floor and in our digital storytelling.
Every team member is a keyholder, so we’re looking for someone responsible, trustworthy, and confident running the store when scheduled.

Key Responsibilities
Sales, Styling & Client Experience
– Deliver an elevated, personalized styling experience for every client
– Build authentic, lasting relationships and support clienteling initiatives
– Share detailed product knowledge, including fit, fabrication, and styling versatility
– Support store sales goals and daily performance targets
– Open and close the store independently as a keyholder
Visual & Store Operations
– Maintain the store’s visual standards and merchandising integrity
– Assist with restocking, inventory organization, and daily replenishment
– Ensure the sales floor reflects the Dot Reeder aesthetic at all times
Social Media & Brand Support
– Assist with in-store content creation (photo/video) for social media platforms
– Model merchandise for social media, website, and marketing content as needed
– Participate in styling, try-ons, and behind-the-scenes brand moments
– Contribute creative ideas that align with Dot Reeder’s visual and brand identity
Qualifications
Must Have:
– All hands on deck attitude, we love teamwork!
– Minimum 2 years of luxury or contemporary fashion retail experience
– Strong fashion sensibility with confident styling ability
– Comfortable being photographed and appearing in brand content
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, engaging personality
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
– Flexible availability, including weekends
– Ability to walk up and down a flight of stairs and lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation
– High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have:
– Experience with Lightspeed POS or similar retail systems
– Background in buying, merchandising, or inventory planning
– Previous experience working within a small business or independently owned boutique
– Interest or experience in social media, content creation, or brand marketing
– Fashion-related education or training
