QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Greet and assist patients in person and via the telephone
• Answering telephones and additional administrative functions
• Patient registration
• Schedule patient appointments, maximizing provider’s schedule
• Third-party insurance verification
• Answering telephones and additional administrative functions
• Obtaining referrals and authorizations
• Establish and maintain patient call list and appointment logs
• Utilize various scripting for patient communication
• Community outreach/ health fairs/ public event opportunities

We seek a Part-Time Front Desk Receptionist and Patient Care Coordinator for our outpatient chiropractic/ physical therapy clinic in New York City. Previous healthcare office experience is preferred.
