Schedule:
This position is on an as needed basis for filling in and accompanying me on work trips.
Currently the following shifts need to be filled:
November 26th, 27th and 28th and December 1st - 5th.
Mornings from 7 am to 12 pm
About the Position:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the medical field and in helping another person with their daily life tasks. Your role will include range of motion stretching, bladder and bowel care, assistance with dressing and showering, grooming, walking and helping train my dog, light house cleaning, misting and caring for plants, and preparing or assisting with meals.
You would also have the opportunity to travel with me on work trips, which can range from a week to up to a month in duration. Travel expenses and accommodations during these trips would be covered.
About Me:
I am a 42-year-old female with a spinal cord injury, residing in New York City for fifth-teen years. I'm a photographer, I have a passion for reading, plants and art. I am fully vaccinated and share my home with a four-year-old Cavapoo dog.
I am looking for a committed and detail-oriented personal care assistant to join my team. Please note that this position requires a strong commitment, and last-minute call-outs are not acceptable as I heavily rely on the people working for me. The role is a part-time long-term position and requires strong verbal communication skills.

Concepts of Independence is a CDPAP company, which allows individual, like myself who is looking for home assistance to hire individuals of their choice. You will be interviewing for the position with me in person. We will be working together in my apartment one-on-one. I live in Midtown West.
Before candidates are cleared to work they will go through a background check, physical, drug test, and will need to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
