Hi!
My name is Cole. I'm a graduate student looking for a sublet or lease takeover, ideally somewhere in Brooklyn, or Ridgewood, Queens. I'm looking for something long-term (at least 6 months to a year), unfurnished, at around $1300/month or under — though I have some flexibility on the details. I'm looking for a start date anytime between April 1-15.
I've always had good, communicative relationships with my roommates, and generally like to keep a clean and tidy living space. I love to cook and I'm happy to cook for/with roommates occasionally. I also like to spend the warmer months outdoors as much as possible, so any outside space is, of course, a big plus for me!
I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to NYC in the fall of 2024 for graduate school. I'm a PhD student in philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center and teach philosophy and logic at Baruch College. I teach and study outside the home most of the time and generally keep a pretty active social life, so I tend to be out of the house quite a bit.
A few things about me:
- Interests: hiking, playing music, painting, reading, tennis
- I've always had positive, communicative relationships with past roommates and am happy to provide references
- Solid rental history, references available on request
- I don't have pets (I'm allergic to cats, but open to living with other pets)
