We have 1 room opening up in our rent-controlled apartment located near the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Looking for a chill, respectful roommate to join a relaxed and drama-free home.
✨ The Building
The building is super laid back and peaceful. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves, but people are friendly and respectful. We’ve never had issues with stolen packages or building drama.
There’s also access to a rooftop perfect for grilling, relaxing, or just taking in amazing views of the NYC skyline.

* Rent-controlled apartment (rent only increased about $30 this year)
* Central AC / Heat
* Utilities typically range from about $150–$350 per person depending on the season

I work full-time remotely for a hospital, so I’m home often, though sometimes I travel for weeks at a time. I like keeping the apartment clean and comfortable without being overly strict about it.

Works in the bartending industry. Super easygoing, friendly, and low-key.
We value privacy, mutual respect, and keeping the apartment drama free. We’re friendly roommates sometimes we hang out, hit the gym, or cook but everyone also respects each other’s space.
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Drama-free and mature
* Respectful of shared spaces
* Cleans up after themselves (especially dishes)
* Cool with keeping parties outside the apartment
* Down to occasionally chip in for shared household stuff like toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
* Helps out with apartment cleaning once in a while
* You'll be signing onto the lease, so please make sure you make 40x the rent and have a Credit score between 680-700. Prob Less but idk.
*Stable Income is Must.

The room is on the smaller side but very functional. It comfortably fits:
* A full-size bed
* Desk/work setup
* Additional storage or external closet
The previous roommate even had a queen bed in there.
It also includes:
* Closet with shelving/storage space
* Private balcony access great for morning coffee, relaxing after work, feeding birds, or just catching some air.
