It is a private (8’x10’x7’), north facing, room on the second floor of a townhouse right off of the Rockaway C train. The room faces the center of the block, so it is very quiet. There is a Murphy bed that folds up into a desk if one needs to WFH, and a small closet. The first floor is the living room, dining room, and kitchen in an open concept. It leads to a back porch and large backyard we share with the downstairs neighbors. The grocery store is a five minute walk away, and there are two laundromats on the block. This part of Bedstuy is very quiet aside from the sirens off in the distance, it is NY after all.

We are a very queer household: one couple (pastry chef - 40, and government worker - 45) and one hair dresser (32). We all tend to travel a lot, so the house can be very quiet at times. Occasionally we will host a dinner, and those usually wrap up around midnight or so. Our friends are older and respect the peace of the home. Sadly our landlord does not allow pets.

The neighborhood is quiet and residential with a few cafes within walking distance. Along with a grocery store, laundromat, and multiple bodegas.

About This Lister

We are a very queer household. The pastry chef (all pronouns) and government worker (he/they) are coupled for ten years, and the hairdresser (he/they) has a partner that lives in their own apartment. Kind of a quiet household, but like to have friends over for dinners when there is ever time. It is not often we are all in the space at the same time. Plus this year includes a lot of travel.

Hoping to find someone who will vibe and bring a relaxed energy to the space. Who is clean, and gets what living in NYC is like.
