Hi! I am looking for a quiet, low maintenance /easygoing subletter from July 24th for a minimum of 3 months (dates are little flexible) The bedroom is huge (17x12 feet) and is located at the rear of the house so it is very quiet. It has 2 large windows, an adjustable bed frame to watch 40” flatscreen TV in comfort. It also has a decorative fireplace for ambiance , clothes rack and a dresser. The living room is yours and is separated by French doors and boasts a dining table and brand new couch. The space works perfectly as a one bedroom since the apt itself is over 1000sq feet and bedrooms are on opposite end with mine having its own entrance. I use my place as an occasional pied à terre and am rarely there and is EXTREMELY unlikely that I need to return before the end of October. If you choose to stay past then we can discuss in more depth but if I were in town for a bit, we would share the bathroom and the kitchen(I mostly just use the fridge to store Thai food!) As mentioned, The bedroom i use is on the other end of the apt so the apt is essentially yours. The apt has old school charm , plenty of square footage and privacy so if you rather skip the roommate drama and have your own place then this might be perfect!
There is unfortunately no backyard access and the rent is priced accordingly. No couples please. Heat , hot water, internet and cooking gas included. Electric not included.
The place is located in awesome Bushwick on the Ridgewood border and there are plenty restaurants, bars, shops nearby. The DeKalb L and M train are less than 5 mins walk and the Jefferson L is just a stroll away.
My son and i lived in the apt for over 10yrs and still have some artwork on the kitchen wall which I can remove if you prefer. We currently live out of NYC and would always give you ample notice if I/we were to visit (after October) 0ur visits generally won’t be more than occasional extended weekend and and possibly a visit at the end of October but not sure yet. I ask that the bathroom and kitchen be clean when I visit and to reiterate, I would stay in the guest/second bedroom during that time and not use the living room.
Good credit, last 2 months banking statements, First month rent and security deposit.
