My husband and I, both law professors in our mid-30s, are seeking an apartment in Brooklyn (Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, Park Slope, Cobble Hill, Clinton Hill, Boerum Hill, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy). Our budget is $4500. We'd like a full-year (minimum) lease with a start date May 31 or June 1.

We have two cats so must be pet-friendly. In-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher are also a must (we are spoiled!). Ideally, the apartment would be 1-2 bedrooms and be close to a subway station (bonus points for 4/5 or A/C).

We are quiet, respectful tenants. We have previously lived in the garden level of an owner-occupied brownstone with no issues.

Note: We are moving back to Brooklyn from out of state, so cannot come in person to see the apartment/meet. We are happy to chat via zoom instead. Further, we will be in town on the weekend of May 2-3 so could meet in person then.
