The space consists of a living room, full dining room, quaint eat-in kitchen (with an O'Keefe & Merritt antique stove), primary bedroom with a queen size bed, guest bedroom/office with an antique 3/4 size bed, full bathroom with a large bathtub. Enjoy your morning coffee on the sunlit balcony off the primary bedroom or in the terraced garden. Play the piano, read a book from our multicultural/multilingual library or listen to music from our extensive eclectic music collection. The garden and surrounding natural landscape evoke the feeling of being in a Mediterranean country getaway while the location offers all of the benefits of the vibrant cultural scene of Highland Park/Eagle Rock. The lovely walkable neighborhood offers stunning views of the surrounding hills. Quiet neighbors, limited motor vehicle traffic - a perfect city retreat! The property runs street-to-street and there is ample street parking either in front or in back. Trader Joe's, Von's, Old Town Pasadena and a wonderful variety of great restaurants and cafés, yoga/pilates studios, Rose Bowl and more are within minutes. About This Lister

We are a widely traveled Franco-American family who has lived in our house since 2001 and lovingly decorated the exterior and interiors with an aesthetic reminiscent of our travels. We have worked for many years in the music and performing arts industries and have academic backgrounds in cultural anthropology, Latin American and African diaspora studies, and music performance. Recent "empty-nesters," we enjoy traveling, music from around the world, camping, nature walks, and a rousing game of Yahtzee.
