I’m renting my one-bedroom apartment in Bushwick starting July 1 for a 6–12 month lease.
It’s my full-time home, and I’ve put a lot of care into it over the past couple of years.
The apartment is in a newly constructed (2024) building with just eight units. It’s quiet, well cared for, and has a really nice, low-key community feel, which has been one of my favorite parts of living here.
The unit is on the second floor (one short flight of stairs; no elevator) and gets great natural light throughout the day. The living room looks out onto two large trees, and there’s a small private balcony off the main space.
Photos show the apartment furnished, but it will be rented unfurnished.
A few highlights:
* Washer/dryer in unit
* Central heating and air conditioning
* Heated bathroom floors + deep soaking tub
* All new smart appliances
* Double window treatments in bed and living (+ blackout in bedroom)
* Tons of natural light
* Small private balcony
Location
About a 7-minute walk to the Myrtle-Broadway JMZ and the Morgan L. The area has a lot going for it—great restaurants (Ops, Roberta’s, Bunna, Eyval), coffee (La Cabra, Sey, Loveless), Syndicated theater, Maria Hernandez Park, and plenty of thrift/vintage shopping.
Details
* One-bedroom (~600 sq ft)
* Unfurnished
* $3,795/month
* 6–12 month lease
* Available July 1
* No pets
I’m the owner and will be reviewing inquiries myself. I’d love to find someone who’s looking for a home and will take good care of the space.
If you’re interested, feel free to reach out with a short intro and a bit about what you’re looking for.
I work in interior design and have spent a lot of time making this apartment feel like a calm, comfortable home.
I’m tidy, respectful, and tend to take good care of the spaces I live in, and I’m hoping to find someone similar.
I’ll be managing the rental myself and try to be responsive and easy to communicate with. Happy to answer any questions or share more details.
First month’s rent and a security deposit required.
I’ll ask for standard info (income/credit + references) just to make sure it’s a good fit.
Mostly just looking for someone responsible, communicative, and respectful of the space.
