Light-filled room in a 4-bed, 2-bath, beautifully refinished apartment shared with three early to mid-30s roommates on the border of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights. The room is located in the back of the apartment, and is very quiet and private (and will be unfurnished).

We are on the top floor of a townhouse (only three neighbors and no one above us.) Awesome roof access with views of the city! All hardwood floors and high ceilings, with tons of light, plants and art throughout the apartment. The southern facing living room lets in a ton of light, as does the window in the kitchen which also creates a really nice cross breeze. We have a dishwasher and a brand new washer/dryer, as well as split unit ACs in each room.

The apartment is in an incredible location. It’s on a quiet street with easy access to a wide range of trains: We’re a 5-min walk from the Franklin Ave shuttle which connects to the A/C, the B/Q, and the 2/3/4/5. We are also 10–12 mins from the 7th Ave B/Q stop, the Eastern Pkwy/Brooklyn Museum 2/3 and the Franklin Ave 4/5 stops.

There are a plethora of wonderful restaurants, bars, cafes, shops & more in walking distance on Franklin Ave, Vanderbilt Ave, Washington Ave and Fulton Ave. We are a 10-minute walk to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and the Brooklyn Public Library.

About This Lister

We are three women and a very cute dog – one of us is a podcast producer, one is an artist/art teacher and the third works in marketing. Le pup is a medium-sized border collie mix named Arthur (technically owned by one of us) who is generally chill around the house and keeps to himself but will grow to love you. We are open to all genders and this should go without saying, but we are a queer-friendly household!

The three of us have lived here for two years and really love the apartment and the neighborhood. We have become friends with each other, so you can expect a warm and friendly household where everyone is busy with their own lives but happy to share a glass of wine or the occasional dinner. We are invested in our home and are looking for a roommate who will treat it with the same care and respect!

We like to host occasional parties and dinners and welcome each other’s friends into the apartment, although we tend to keep it low key after 10ish on weeknights. We would prefer someone who works in person several days a week but it’s not a dealbreaker. We share cleaning responsibilities and expect that folks clean up after themselves after cooking/eating and generally keep the common areas tidy.

Looking for a like-minded addition! We are ideally looking for someone to sign an 11-month lease, but could be open to a shorter stay (three month minimum).
