I have a bedroom for rent in a 3-bedroom apartment in a six-floor elevator building in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. You would live with me and another male roommate. Initial tour and interview will be Zoom video call. Seeking considerate, Covid/flu cautious roommate, willing to help protect immune compromised family and friends of the other roommates.
The bedroom is 10.4 x 9.5 Ft (99 Sq Ft) with 1 window, which can fit an A/C, 9.5 foot high ceiling and 1 closet just outside of the bedroom (leaving more wall space in the bedroom). Room is unfurnished, though desk is available from prior roommate, if interested.
The rest of the apartment is fully furnished, with a shared dining/living room, bathroom and kitchen with both full fridge and mini-fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. available for shared use. Laundry is in basement. No pets (allergies). No smoking. No TV in common spaces, please. We each clean up after ourselves as we go, and also have a regular cleaning schedule. Use of common space for company/gathering/overnight guests to be coordinated in advance. Generally, we don't bring the party home.
Located between C and G trains (1.5 blocks to each), and 15 min walk to/from Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center subway station. Citi Bike is nearby.
Quiet tree-lined residential block, with nearby grocery stores, cafes, bars and restaurants.

I am one of the roommates and the leaseholder, a native New Yorker in early 50s. Started career in non-profits, followed by getting an MBA and working as an IT Auditor in financial services industry. I enjoy movies, music, the NBA, travel and keeping up on current affairs. The other roommate is a long-time educator in his late 30s currently teaching chess at a charter school, who enjoys creative writing, and reading blogs, especially in the area of math and physics. He works long hours and is usually out of the home except on weekends.
