I'm moving to New York from Montreal this summer for work, and I'd love the chance to try a few different neighbourhoods before deciding where I want to land in the fall.
I like my home life to be peaceful. Meditation, yoga, reading, a bit of cooking. I don't need something large, just enough space to do my stretches. Classical, ambient house, and jazz are usually on.
I'm responsible and trustworthy, rarely have guests over, and I'm happy to take care of plants or any housekeeping the owner wants kept up. I work from the office and from home.
I do travel occasionally, so if you're looking to use your place for a weekend here and there, I'm open to working something out.
When: June-July, and also looking for something starting September onward
Neighbourhoods: SoHo, Tribeca, LES, West Village/Greenwich Village, Chelsea, UES, UWS
Budget: $3,500/month
Mid-30s female, originally from Montreal. I work for a restoration company in NYC that works on historical landmarks like the Flatiron and the Frick Collection.
Love museums, live music, and exploring. I like staying active and learning. I'm love a mix of city and country lifestyle living.
