Hello! We’re Ben and Vlad, and we’re looking for a new roommate to join us in a three-bedroom, second-floor apartment in Woodside.

The apartment is spatious, sunny and calm. It is situated near the corner of 63rd street and Woodside Ave, in Woodside, NYC. We have two living rooms, two bathrooms, and lots of storage space. We are steps away from the Woodside 7 train and LIRR and there are numerous options for groceries and restaurants very close by. Our laundromat is a 2-3 minute walk away. We have a good relationship with our friendly landlord who lives with his family downstairs.

The room to be occupied includes has a closet, will be unfurnished. The room is on the smaller side (7'9'' by 16') but affords much privacy. It is adjacent to the living spaces, separate from the other two bedrooms, and the new roommate would have their own small washroom.

We are pretty easy going and try to keep the apartment a clean and calm space. We are looking for someone respectful and responsible who has similar priorities. We are flexible regarding roommate arrangements, division of chores, etc. We are welcoming of all genders and sexual orientations. We’d prefer those in roughly our age range.

Move in is April 1st, but there might be some flexibility about the exact date. We’re looking for someone to rent for a full year.

Rent is currently $947/month each. The landlord provides heat and hot water included in the rent. In addition, wifi is $27/month each, and utilities is separate. The utility cost for gas and electricity for the most recent 12 months came out to $53/month per person, with it being higher in the summer and lower in the winter, because electricity costs more over the summer.

Rental requirements are proof of income, first month's rent, and a one month security deposit.
