THE APARTMENT

The apartment is a converted railroad on the first floor, the two bedrooms are at opposite ends, each with natural light.

The common area is darker and I've included photos of it with the overheads on and off, so you can see the vibe.

The bedroom up for grabs is street side, with a decent closet. My current roommate has a desk, two chairs and a Queen bed all fit in quite nicely (for NY).
The room will come unfurnished.

The bathroom is basic, with a large shower, no tub.

Kitchen has a stove and an oven, no microwave or dishwasher.

The backyard is private to us and is accessed through my bedroom, which, with a little communication, should not impede your access at all.

Utilities averages range from $80-120. We pay internet, electricity and gas.

YOU

I'm looking for a roommate who doesn't have pets, but who would love to share a home with a stoic old dog. Ideally you wouldn't mind helping with the occasional weekend dog sitting or afternoon walk.

Respectful of shared spaces, down to communicate, ideally someone who can become a friend but also fine if we simply and pleasantly cohabitate.

Not really a party home, except for the occasional dinner party.

THE ROOMMATE

I'm a 37yo woman with a large dog.
I work from home M-F and bartend two nights a week at a nice restaurant in Williamsburg.
I clean regularly and also provide lint rollers to whomever I share a space with (I'm a person who wears primarily black with a white-hair dog, it's the least I could do)
I cycle, knit while watching shows, do muay thai, and enjoy dance, writing, and the occasional backyard gathering when the weather is nice.
