Hi everyone! I'm posting on behalf of myself (Marisa, 30, F) and my roommate (Charity, 32, F). We are looking for a like-minded person to join us in our 3 bedroom Clinton Hill/Bed-Stuy apartment September 1. Move-in can be earlier & pro-rated in coordination with current, departing roommate.

In joining, you will sign onto the lease starting September 1 and the lease will renew March 1, 2026. Rent is $974 plus internet/electricity: usually averages out to ~$60 a month per person. Long term only, please.

About us:

Charity is a multitalented photographer, bartender, and plant care professional from Hawaii. She has a varied schedule but typically works afternoons and evenings. (And cares for all the apartment's plant life!)

Marisa is from San Diego and works in an art gallery in Manhattan during regular work hours.

We are both busy, lively, and involved outside of the apartment, and are looking for the same. We see the apartment as a place to unwind and chill out; that being said, we are looking for someone who respects everyone’s alone time but is also approachable and social. We both occasionally have people over (and love the occasional roomie dinner party or wine night) but do NOT bring the party home. We actively clean up after ourselves in the kitchen and living spaces and are not “chore list” people when it comes to deep cleaning and other responsibilities; we’ve preferred to just feel those things out, as adults.

About the space:

No washer/dryer, but pretty fond of a wonderful laundromat right around the corner!

Updated kitchen appliances, dishwasher, etc.

Building is from the 1920s, multiple tenants, responsive and lovely superintendent, similarly responsible property manager & landlord (a larger rental office of sorts, but not in a predatory way)

Room is unfurnished

About the area:

Easily one of the best areas in all of Brooklyn! Right near beautiful tree-lined streets and brownstones as well as stellar bars and restaurants — Doris, Dynaco, Do or Dive, Speedy Romeo, Clementine, Commune, Entre Nous, Place des Fetes, Locanda, Aita, The Fly, Sisters, Roman, and so much more!

20 or so min walk to both Prospect and Fort Greene parks

5 min walk to Classon G and 10 minutes to Clinton-Washington C
