Hey y’all! My lovely roommates are moving out at the end of our lease (moving to bf + law school), so I’m looking for someone to sign on for the next year.

We need to sign by May 31 (the renewal deadline) - however the rooms will be empty Aug 1 (for the big room) and Oct 1 (for the small room).

If you're a couple interested in renting both (a bedroom and an office -- with 2 large closets) for $2950 -- that's also possible!

Dates are somewhat flexible -- Let's chat :)

- Small Room ($1350 - Open Oct 1) - Can fit a full bed (because of a corner), but has a large closet + can fit a desk as well. The window looks between buildings but then out to Dean Playground!

- Largest Room ($1600 - Open Aug 1) - In the front of the apartment, large closet, can fit a queen, large desk, and dresser. Only room w 2 windows!

- Both roommates are selling a bunch of stuff (including window AC) if you're interested!

The apartment:
- In-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher
- The Prospect Heights location is AMAZING -- so many trains, a gorgeous neighborhood and 10 min walk to Prospect Park
- Open concept kitchen/living room with a breakfast bar
- One bathroom, renovated just before we moved in
- Couch that pulls out into a queen bed
- Shared space has two windows into an inner air well — no real natural light there, but still a cozy hang
- Responsive landlord
- You can join our Park Slope Food Coop household membership if that’s your vibe!

About This Lister

I'm a 26 yo (she/her) graduate student studying public policy and working in housing/transportation. Love to bike, bit with friends, smoke a joint on the way to a museum/park (depending on the season). Queer texan, nyc gov nerd, busy but love a lil chat at the end of the night while I make tea!

I feel like my priority in a roommate is just open, calm communication and a respect for the space. Otherwise, I like home to feel relaxed so my best roommate experiences have been with people that won't bring a super angry or frantic reaction to stuff. We can solve problems and have a chuckle!
