The room for rent has a large window, a tall closet, and a radiator for cozy winter months. It has just been painted and is ready for move-in. Unfurnished.
The apartment offers great conveniences: a dishwasher, projector in the living room, door buzzer for easy deliveries, and an extra storage/multipurpose room. The building includes shared laundry in the basement and bicycle storage.
The location is ideal - just a short walk to the Kingston–Throop C train, Herbert Von King Park, and neighborhood favorites like Peaches, Saraghina, WARUDE, Dolores, Sincerely Tommy, Odd Fox Coffee, Barb’s, Frog, and more.
Hot water is included in the rent. Other utilities (National Grid, Con Edison, and Wi-Fi) typically range from $50–$70+ each per month, depending on the season (higher in summer with AC usage, as there’s no central air). Household basics like toilet paper are usually bought in bulk and split via Venmo.

About This Lister
You will share the apartment with me, Renée (she/her). I am 32 years old and work at an event agency. I am currently on a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days I work from home during the week. I mostly relax when I'm home and keep to myself, but I am open to occasionally chatting over a glass of wine or watching a movie. I am looking for someone who is clean and mindful of the common areas.

Sign a sublease agreement for a month-to-month rental at $1,550/ month.
For an October 15 move-in, a half month's rent and security deposit is required, totaling $2,325.
Or for move-in on November 1, the first month's rent and security deposit is required, totaling $3,100.
If interested, you could move in a date between Oct 15 - Nov 1, and I will adjust the rent accordingly, depending on the move-in date.
Ideally, I'm looking for someone interested in living in Brooklyn for at least a year.
