It's a family owned building, and they do a good job of fostering a family vibe throughout the building; the residents are very friendly. There is an elevator and card operated laundry machines in the basement. Super on site.

10m walk to Prospect Park, and 12m to Courtelyou Rd, which has great cafes, bars, restaurants. The Flatbush Coop is my favorite local grocery story with organic produce and products and some pretty great deals, even for non-members.

The available bedroom has south and west facing windows so it gets lots of natural morning and afternoon light. It comes with two large closets and an en suite bathroom.

The room is partially furnished with a bed and two dressers. I can provide a desk and more furnishings upon request.

The apartment has a sizable living room, main bathroom, and dine-in kitchen. (I moved in last month, so its a work in progress, but starting to feel cozy!)

It also has a private balcony, accessible from my room, which you would have access to!

I enjoy cooking, being in nature, going to the theater, cozying up with a good book, and listening to records.

I don't have a TV but I'm planning to set up a projector, so that it's not the focal point of the living space. Also, I don't have a cat currently, but would like to get one at some point.
