Room for rent BEDSTUY

Rooms for Rent

$2,000/month

Available

January 31, 2026 - January 31, 2027

Neighborhood

Bedstuy, Brooklyn

Size

875 sq. ft.

It’s a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment in the heart of Bed-Stuy — truly a great location. About 5 minutes to the C train and 10 minutes to the A, making commuting super easy.

Rent: $2,000/month (rent stabilized!)
Utilities are ConEd + Verizon Fios and usually average ~$150/person in the winter and ~$90–$100/person in the summer

About the room & apartment:

The room is bright and gets a ton of natural sunlight. It has a small closet but comfortably fits a full-size bed, desk + chair, bookshelf, and wardrobe.
You’ll also have your own private en-suite bathroom. My bathroom is off the living room.

Each room has its own AC/heat combo unit. The kitchen is small but very workable and includes a stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There’s also a video buzzer/security system.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a walk-up (just one flight, wide stairs, very manageable).

The building uses key codes instead of keys (except for the mailbox) and has a secure package room.

Building amenities:

Laundry in the basement (paid app)

Huge rooftop with furniture (great in summer)

Big courtyard for bikes or grilling

Small gym

Pool table / common room

Shared bike & storage room in the basement

We’ve never had issues with neighbors, and the landlords have been easy to work with. Rent is paid through an online portal (credit/debit cards have a small processing fee).

My current roommate has a small dog, so small dogs or very chill larger dogs are probably the best fit.

Living style:

The apartment is kept pretty clean. I’m not super strict—fine if a dish sits in the sink for a bit—but I do clean up after myself in common areas and would expect the same.

I already have a large couch, TV stand, bar cart, and dishes, but you’re welcome to bring anything else that works in the space.

Neighborhood:

We’re at Fulton & Claver, just a few blocks from multiple subway lines, grocery stores, great bars (Doris is right across the street), and restaurants. Even though it’s close to everything, the apartment itself is quiet at night.

If you’re interested, message me and tell me a bit about yourself! 😊

About This Lister

I’m 28 and work as a journalist. I’ve been living in this apartment for three years and absolutely love it. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and go into the office Tuesday–Thursday. I’m into fashion, fitness, theater, dancing, and going out to eat. I work a lot and spend a good amount of time at home, but I’m always down for a fun night out.
I love dogs—I don’t have one in NYC, so I’m totally open to you having one (as long as they’re friendly).
