I’m looking for a roommate to fill a room in a two bed two bath apartment in Crown Heights for June 1. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bath. The bathroom off of the room avail has a tub. The front room with kitchen is shared and totally furnished including a lot of my plants. The building is a brownstone with laundry in the basement. There is loads of closest for storage as well as storage space available in the basement. The unit is just one flight of brownstone steps up. The apartment is located a little less than a 10min walk from the Nostrand A/C stop, around the corner from the B65 and less than a five min walk from the LIRR. The building is generally pretty quiet and on one of the most beautiful tree lined blocks in Crown Heights. Utilities are on top of rent. I handle all the utilities accounts and will request funds monthly once I’ve paid. Rent is paid via the tenant portal.

I’ve lived in this apartment for three years and have lived in the area for about 4 years. I’m full time employed and on weekends go to a ceramics studio for my art practice. I go to a gym nearby in the neighborhood occasionally. I have a big senior dog who sleeps most of the day. She loves people and she would be excited to greet you when you come home. She sometimes comes to work with me. I go to an office about 3-4 days a week. I love to cook and bake, watch movies and take naps. I’m an outgoing person who enjoys relaxing at home after long days at the office. I cook a lot and sometimes host friends for dinner. I try to keep shared spaces very clean. The space is queer friendly too.

I’m hoping to find someone who is interested in living in the area, who likes to be quiet and relaxed at home, but also goes out and about. Must be comfortable with dogs.
