I've got a spacious (11x17) sunny room for rent. Move in date is June 1st. Room is lovely with lots of natural light and hardwood floors in a well kept elevator building. Price is $1,100 plus utilities (gas/electric/wifi - usually around $60). Easily fits queen size bed, dresser, desk, yoga mat, whatever. For those seeking a bed (full) and/or large bookcase they're available. Apartment has high ceilings and a nice spacious feel. Room's got 2 big windows, closet right outside the door. Laundry in the basement, subway (Q train) and shopping are 5 minutes away. Four stops away from a fantastic Food Co-op. (open to the public). Express B train is 1 stop away@ Kings Hwy., where there's plenty to do (gym, more shopping). For beach, music and baseball fans Coney Island is 20 minutes on the Q train where you can enjoy the rides and beach, catch the Brooklyn Cyclones baseball games or live music at the Coney Island Amphitheater. Midwood is a bustling neighborhood that's only 25 minutes to Downtown Brooklyn-Barclays Center/LIRR, 35 minutes to Union Square. Friendly, considerate female looking for a clean, reliable, reasonably quiet and mature housemate. Please no drugs or drama:) I try to live a pretty clean life with the occasional icecream/popcorn binges and way too much baseball watching :) As a roommate I strive to be accommodating and always welcome open, direct communication about mutual needs and requests in sharing space. It goes a long way in keeping the home peaceful and drama free:)
