We’re looking for a new housemate to join our lovely, light-filled Park Slope 2BR apartment, for a September 15th move in.

The apartment is the top floor of a three story walk up building, with a spacious kitchen and living area, and a small balcony overlooking leafy courtyards. It receives beautiful natural light throughout the day, has wooden floorboards, and is styled with love!

It’s conveniently located within a 4 minute walk from F-G-R subway lines, which makes Manhattan and the rest of Brooklyn really easily accessible. Prospect Park is a 20-minute walk through beautiful Park Slope. We’re part of the Park Slope Food Co-Op and typically shop there, but also run up to Union Market (5 mins) for bits and pieces throughout the week.

The available room is on a mezzanine level (open staircase, still very private), with four high NW/SE-facing windows, and plenty of space for a bed, desk, dresser etc. The room will be unfurnished.

We’re looking for someone who is thoughtful and warm, and enjoys taking pride in cultivating a home. We really value good conversation and are always up for a chat about art, politics, food etc - we’re looking for likeminded values.

All utilities included except wifi, no in-unit washer/dryer (but there's a laundromat across the road), no dishwasher.

We’re looking forward to learning a little about yourself in your initial reach out - thank you!

About This Lister

My name is Daisy (she/her) and I’m currently a Master’s student in Design Theory at Parsons with a background in architecture, working at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum. My partner, Michael (he/him), studied philosophy and works full-time in cultural research and brand strategy. We love cooking, going out to music and art events, hosting a dinner party every now and then, and appreciate chilling out in the space. We don’t tend to have hard and fast rules, but like to be intuitive and accommodating to others’ schedules and needs. We are tidy but not obsessively neat, and value a relaxed and social environment.
