This is a furnished sublet room available from Jul.23 until end of August, living in a nice bungalow in a safe, pretty area with yard and extra shed hangout space. Living with 2 bright, easygoing, professional, kind women in their 30s and two pups. I'm flexible for start /end dates by a few days but looking at 3 weeks minimum for the sublet duration and will pro-rate.

*A lease takeover also starts on Sept 1 through April, if anyone is hoping for a longer term, unfurnished situation in a great place as I head back to the east coast long-term.

Great walkable area for anyone visiting or looking to re-situate, cool cafes galore.

The room for rent is very zen, gets nice diffused morning light, a good breeze, and has a large closet. You'd share a large full bathroom with one housemate.

We have:
-A big kitchen with modern appliances, tons of countertop space
-In-unit washer/dryer
-Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal
-Raised garden bed and a plum tree!
-Off-street parking (2 spots, we'll rotate monthly if you drive. Non-permit parking and never an issue to park.)
-Two non-shedding dogs: one tiny, one medium-sized (best for someone who doesn't have a pet)
-Central location, very close to the 101
-Gated fence/security in front

We have a backyard (where I do yoga classes/hang out), PLUS a work/creative shed space to use.

About This Lister

I'm a creative type, living in a bungalow with two other clean, bright, warm, professional women in their 30s with two sweet dogs. One is a tv/film writer, the other is a journalist/composer.
I'm moving back to the East coast and this place will be missed. It's an easygoing, silly household respectful of each others' needs for space/quiet/but also relaxed. Quiet after 11 kind of household.

Living with these girls has fulfilled my needs for pet affection and good housemates - without committing to owning a dog right now.
