A busy neighborhood and street, my cottage is a quiet tucked away sanctuary with lime, fig and olive trees, jasmine often in bloom, bees, hummingbirds and a lovely outdoor space with raised vegetable gardens for growing herbs and food, dinner parties and occasional salon style music / arts events / film screenings. The living room has an adobe feel with tall ceilings.

The room for sublet has recently polished 1920s hardwood floors and is very quiet and private with windows looking out to cactus / fig tree. Musical friends have scored films in that room while staying with me it's that quiet. It is currently furnished with a full bed, shelves and a desk.

The bathroom is shared and has a comfortable bathtub for relaxing, I value keeping shared spaces clean and tidy.

I am a photographer / filmmaker / writer / editor and all around creative and sounding board. I work with many musicians, artists and leaders in science, healthcare & Indigenous health and justice.

I am very chilled out, quiet and work from home, but also travel a lot. I love cooking and growing food. There is usually an endless supply of limes, herbs, greens and seasonal veggies and fruit in the garden. I can be a hermit when working hard on deadlines but am also very social and love meeting new people and hosting dinner parties to cross pollinate Los Angeles a little.

There is also an unfinished garage space on the property that I hope to fix up and make into a studio workshop space if there are any artists / ceramicists / wood workers who this might appeal to!
