We're hiring a Sales Associate to work 20–35 hours/week, including evenings and weekends, at our NYC store in the Financial District.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll provide thoughtful and conversational customer experiences, maintain our visual merchandising standards, and contribute to the collaborative energy that makes BARIZI more than just a store. You’ll also represent the brand at in-store events and help build a welcoming environment for every customer.

Must-Have Qualities & Skills:

- Enjoy talking to and interacting with people
- Have weekday evening and weekend availability
- Able to easily move around for an entire shift (4-8 hours)
- Able to lift and move at least 23kg or 50lbs
- 1+ year in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to troubleshoot as needed
- Have strong and proactive communication skills
- Comfortable in cosmopolitan and diverse social settings
- Detail-focused and adaptable

Nice-to-Haves:

- Prior training in conversational sales
- Background in craft, design, or visual arts
- Fluency in different languages
- Previous event planning experience
