About this Lister

I'm Didi, a Jamaican film director, writer, and psychic working and living between Kingston and Europe. I've been working almost exclusively in film for the last 7 years in various positions in the set and development hierarchy. Prior to that, I worked as an artist's studio assistant, a communications fellow at LACMA, a music tour photographer and an art journalist. I have offered intuitive readings for the last 9 years, and use this unique gift to help you uncover the heart of what you want to say and the story you want to tell.

Background and Expertise

I work for UK-based producers. I get to read and do coverage on multiple screenplays a week – which means I know exactly what's going around in the industry right now, what makes great writing stand out these days, and common mistakes with screenwriters. I want to share my knowledge and expertise with more writers – Hollywood's getting boring, let me help you write your unique story (or make it sharper)!

I've worked in film in Los Angeles and Jamaica with global crew for the last 7 years. I won the James Bridges Scholarship for Excellence in Directing to attend the American Film Institute, ranked top film school in North America last year. I have an MFA in directing from AFI and my thesis film, IN FOREIGN, is currently in festival circuit.
