Down the Chimney is hiring for the 2025 holiday season!
We’ll be serving up freshly baked chimney cakes and festive drinks at the Bryant Park Holiday Market from late October through early January. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time team members.
You’ll be:
- Preparing dough and fillings
- Baking chimney cakes
- Taking and serving orders
- Handling payments
- Making hot drinks
- Receiving deliveries
- Tracking stock levels
- Keeping the kitchen clean and efficient
What we’re looking for:
- Team players with a positive attitude
- Previous food service experience (required)
- NY Food Handler’s license (a plus)

Down the Chimney is a seasonal pop-up offering festive chimney cakes and hot beverages at the Bryant Park Holiday Market. We are a small business, and you will be in direct contact with the team manager throughout the hiring process.
