Hi! We’re queer professionals/artists looking for a thoughtful and friendly third roommate to share our incredible home with.

The apartment is an old 3-unit building with a shared backyard (thought the basement) in the heart of South Slope with great cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. We’re an 8 minute walk to Prospect Park and 15 minute walk to Greenwood Cemetery. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the F/G trains at 7th Ave and 15 minute walk to the R at Prospect Ave.

I’m Adam, a 34 year old queer nonprofit executive and theater artist. I work from my room half the week, and love picnics in Prospect Park on the weekends. The other roommate is a 39 year old queer health researcher, lives here part-time, and the rest of the time we share the third bedroom as a guest room. We’re looking for someone friendly, mature, clean, and experienced in communal living or excited about building community. No pets, smoking. Looking to rent to one person only.

Logistics! This room is on the second floor (walk up) facing the backyard. The whole place gets amazing natural light. It’s $1,525/mo, which includes shared guest room access. Utilities are around $100/mo, including a monthly cleaner. One year lease with $1,275 security deposit and first months rent ($2,800 total) upon signing. Landlord requires credit check, references, and proof of income. Move in June 1. Can come furnished or unfurnished.
