Love dogs? Daydream about working outside? Want to make a difference in a dog's day during these horrible times? Have a soft spot in your heart for drool and picking up poo?? Then read on!

We are a small femme and vegan-owned dog walking company in the Financial District. This means we operate with the philosophy that each dog is a unique individual with their own personhood and set of desires and needs. In short, we put the dogs first.

We are currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and compassionate individual to walk dogs Monday - Friday from 10am - 3pm. We would like to grow your schedule into full time as more walks become available. We would also like you to be available for occasional weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, and overnights in clients’ homes. Hours will vary slightly depending on schedules and client requests. This will be further explained during the interview. You will always know your schedule far in advance! No surprises!

What we are looking for in our walkers:

- Long term commitment. You will be asked to commit for at least 6 months.
- Able to walk for at least 6 hours at a time and physically capable to handle dogs of all sizes.
- Able and willing to withstand ALL WEATHER CLIMATES.
- Own a working smart phone with ability to send and receive texts and take photos - you will be sending client updates via an app on your cell
- Exceptional time management skills - the pups are waiting behind closed doors and they’re relying on you to rescue them from their boredom (and let them tinkle!)
- Possess a desire and willingness to learn about different dog breeds, canine behavior, and how to do basic leash training (training will be provided but it’s up to you to practice and hone these skills).
- Be courteous and have stellar communication skills - you will be required to communicate to your supervisor throughout the day and with clients through updates in an app or in person.
- Be PROFESSIONAL - You will also be interacting with clients, building concierge, and tenants as well as the larger FiDi community. How you conduct yourself reflects on the company.
- Must not be afraid to get dirty - this job can be messy.
Have a reliable means of transportation (subway, bus, bike, pogo stick…)
- Possess the ability to roll with the punches! You will be on the busy, tourist-filled streets of FiDi and the humans you come into contact with will try your patience.
