Looking for one subletter in a 4-bedroom apartment in Washington Heights. Move-in date November 1 (earlier flexible). Ideally looking for a 7-month commitment followed by a new one-year lease beginning in June 2026. Rent is $950/month plus utilities.

Corner apartment on 172nd St and Fort Washington Ave (0.2 miles from the A (3 blocks) /C (4 blocks) and 1 trains (4 blocks)). Walking distance to local grocery stores, gyms, restaurants, and city parks. Unfurnished room with large closet. Lots of natural light and easily fits a queen bed and dresser. Elevator and laundry in building. Ramp access through side entrance. Dishwasher in kitchen. 1 full bathroom shared with 2 other roommates. 3 current roommates: two women (white, queer, early 30s) and one man (south asian, gay/queer, early 30s).

We are artistic, queer-friendly people looking for a clean, responsible, easy-going, and like-minded roommate! All genders welcome. No smoking. Looking for 1 roommate only. Pets considered on case-by-case basis (no cats). Only considering serious inquiries of interested folks.

About This Lister

I'm a 32 year old queer, south asian man (he/they) in graduate school for psychotherapy while transitioning out of a career in public health. I'm one of three current roommates who enjoy the outdoors, movies, fitness, adventures with friends, and quiet nights in that are equally comfortable as they are restful. I value strong communication skills, cultural competency, a communal ethos, and building a sense of belonging in all aspects of life.

Once finalized to move forward after a scheduled interview with the current housemates, a signed sublease agreement + first month's rent + security deposit equal to first month's rent will be due by November 1.
