Seeking furnished housing -- ideally a 4-bedroom, but open to a combination of smaller units -- near SVN West / Hayes Valley for approximately 10 weeks this summer, mid-June through late August 2026.
The space will be for production staff (including myself) for our summer youth film program -- working adults, not students. We're prepared to pay a fair rate and would also welcome a conversation about a reduced rate or a sponsorship in support of our mission (more here: https://tinyurl.com/48hillsdeck).
We're 48 Hills, a San Francisco youth filmmaking nonprofit (501c3 pending) founded by Joe Talbot, the Sundance-winning director of The Last Black Man in San Francisco.
Each summer, 100 high school students produce one ambitious film together, mentored by Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning, and Sundance-winning professionals.
Our partners include A24, Adobe, Clay, Skywalker Sound, and Panavision, and over half our students attend on financial aid.
The SF Chronicle, SFGate, and Mission Local have all covered the program. You can learn more at 48hills.camp.
