Looking for someone who will be in NYC regularly 3 to 7/10 days a month.
A great open space, perfect if you are just looking to come to some place that feels like home, even though you are amid a hustling, bustling city. In one of the city's popular neighborhoods, there is no shortage of restaurants, stores, etc in this area. Oversized studio with separate room with hanging closet to hang that you can use to store clothes/ suitcase or do computer use/office work, , exercise, etc.
Coat tree and luggage rack/table also provided for coats and clothing.
Central Park with its nice peaceful scenic greenery is within a 10 min walk (or 5 minute run). Express train and buses are 2 blocks away. 6 train is also a short walk.
Only 20 minutes on the nearby express train will get you to Union Square or West Village or Herald Square, too. 15 minutes door to door to Grand Central via other train.
I like the neighborhood because it has an eclectic feel with both families and every day individuals. The restaurants are great and the other neighborhoods are so accessible by train or bus. Parking is easier here for guests. I like that for me it has a quieter more neighborhood feel than midtown and some downtown locations and that is is part of the city but not so congested as other areas both in cars and people.
Kitchen is small but cozy and functions welland opens into main room. Living room is part of main room with kitchen bar with seating for 2-3. Queen size bed with high quality Therapedic mattress Wifi available. Living room has large TV with cable and Amazon Prime and working fireplace, although not needed since building is heated well. Heat can be controlled in the apartment, which is great (It doesn't get too cold or hot like some other apartments).( In hotter weather air conditioner for comfort in the heat also available.) Apartment also has all the usual amenities: microwave, toaster/ air fryer, etc. (No dishwasher now, in repair.) Maid service provided for stays of 6 or more days.
The place is kept clean and neat with everything accessible within the space.
Dry cleaner and laundry service downstairs with pick up/drop off (about a dollar a pound). Laundromats a block or two away if doing your own laundry is preferred.
This is a landmark walk up building and the apartment is on the 3rd floor, walk up.
