Hi! My name is Aroj, and I’m currently a graduate student at NYU completing my Master of Public Health (graduating May 12, 2026). I work in healthcare at a psychiatry clinic and will be transitioning to full time after graduation.
I’m looking for a room or shared apartment in Gowanus, Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, or nearby neighborhoods starting June 1 (flexible late May).
I’m specifically looking for a long-term sublease.
I’m clean, respectful, and easy to live with. I have a busy schedule between work and school, so I value a calm, comfortable home environment. I enjoy yoga, reading, going to the gym, and spending time with friends, but I’m not bringing the party home.
Ideally looking for:
• A reasonably sized room (I have some furniture)
• 2–3 roommates max
• Budget: ~$1200–$2,000 (flexible)
I’m hoping to find a space that feels peaceful and well maintained, with considerate roommates who communicate well and respect shared spaces.
If you have a room available or are looking to team up, I’d love to connect!
Feel free to reach out—happy to share more about myself or chat further.
Best,
Aroj
Native New Yorker, 29 (turning 30 in September). I’m single and don’t have any pets. Pronouns: she/her
I’m pretty easygoing and considerate as a roommate—clean, communicative, and respectful of shared spaces. I like having a peaceful home environment and am usually busy with work, school, or the gym, but I’m also friendly and enjoy getting to know the people I live with.
Looking to live with others who are similarly respectful, tidy, and communicative.
