To co-create friendly, cooperative home in a large 4BR/2 Bath apartment in Washington Heights. Close to The A train at 181 street and many restaurants, supermarkets and shopping areas. Walk to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Fort Tryon Park/The Cloisters and Yeshiva University. Only 20 minutes by subway to Columbus Circle.

I am looking for someone who’d like to contribute to our household in ways that support both adults and children, rather than just a roommate. Let’s cook dinner together once a week and sing our favorite songs off-key. Let’s guide our children with warmth and wisdom.

I work at home during the day, several days a week, and am home most weeknights. If you have a younger child, I am happy to help out if you work nights.

Two bedrooms are available for your use at the other end of the apartment from ours. One can be an office and the other a bedroom, or you can use them as two separate bedrooms. There is a private bathroom just for your use.

We have two beautiful and friendly black cats who love to cuddle.

Dimensions are:
Large Room 18 x 13 feet
Small Room 7 x 12.5 feet with built-in shelving
Bathroom 6.5 x 3.5 feet with bathtub and raindrop shower head

Lots of light, clean, live-in super, 2nd floor apartment in elevator building, laundry in the basement. Shared kitchen and living room/maker space.

$2260 covers the current rent, cable and internet. Move in date is flexible, from July 1-September 1.

Gas and electric split monthly. We have an air conditioner for your use, if you would like to install it.

I am neat, but my daughter is still learning to clean up after she paints, sews, makes jewelry, and creates whatever fun thing she sees on Pinterest. There may occasionally be sequins on the floor or paint brushes in the sink.
