We're renting out our house in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania this winter and spring. A sweet stone house built in 1807, it's located in a quiet village only a few miles from the Delaware River and New Jersey. It's a 1.5 hour drive from both New York City and Philadelphia. Available January through April, but dates are flexible, and we're open to monthly renters, as well.

Details: Fully furnished. Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. Full kitchen. Unfinished basement with some weights/workout space. My husband and I will be only 1.5 hours away, at our other home, in New Jersey, and can answer any questions. Back porch. Fenced-in yard on 0.5 acres, next to a stream. Parking outside. Hardwood floors. Washer/dryer. Clean. The house is located in a semi-walkable little village, only a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Hellertown, and 15 minute drive to Lehigh Valley towns (Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem). It's a wonderful space to write, unwind, start a project, or just hangout for the winter. There's a fireplace, record player, cozy oil heating, and lots of character. Pets negotiable. A few miles from Hellertown bus station into Philly or NYC.

High speed internet, electric, and water included. Renter pays for heat.

About This Lister

We are a married couple in our thirties (a writer and an investigator) and the owners of the house. It's our second residence and we love it, but we can't be here for the winter due to work projects. We'd love to rent the space out to someone who is calm, responsible, and preferably someone who will use the space to work on some sort of artistic or academic project. But that's not required!
