Room Available: Short-Term Sublet (February–April, flexible)
Hello! I have a furnished room available for a flexible short-term sublet in February, March, and April. Open to shorter stays as well. And possibly longer ... like I said flexible.
The Room:
Quiet and cozy—perfect for great sleep. The room is furnished with a queen-size bed, dresser, chair, and a decent-sized closet. Bedding and towels are provided.
The Apartment:
The apartment features a spacious kitchen, cozy living room, and a workout room with a Peloton plus space for yoga. The building also has a huge shared backyard used by just four apartments, a rare city gem. The apartment is on the 4th floor.
Location:
Located on the Prospect Heights / Crown Heights border in a fantastic neighborhood. Close to bars, restaurants, cafés, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, and Prospect Park. About a 10-minute walk to the C train and the 2/3/4/5, Q, and shuttle lines. Roughly 30 minutes to Manhattan.
Who Lives Here:
Me (female, 30s) and my cat, Archie. I love cooking, watching movies, reading, and catching a basketball game.
I'm a journalist/executive. I work from home two days a week and have a busy work and social schedule with some travel mixed in, so I’m out often. I really value the apartment as a calm, relaxing place to unwind. I host occasionally, but overall the vibe is peaceful and cozy. I keep the space pretty tidy, and hire cleaners to do a deep clean monthly.
Archie, my cat, has one eye and a lot of charm. He’s obsessed with feet and armpits (fair warning), but mostly he just wants pets and food.
Who I’m Looking For:
A tidy, responsible professional looking for a comfortable place to rest and recharge from city life. I prefer someone who isn’t fully remote, but I’m open to chatting if it feels like a good fit. Bonus points if you enjoy home-cooked meals and are willing to take on additional cat-petting duties. No smoking, please. And no other pets.
If this sounds like a good fit, reach out and tell me a bit about yourself!
