Welcome to our home! Walk up steps to a 2-story brick row home featuring an open floor plan that flows from living to dining room to kitchen with a small furnished deck and backyard (that's currently being landscaped) off the kitchen. Kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, microwave, 4-burner gas stove, farmhouse sink and brass hardware. We've stocked it with all the essentials -- water filter, wooden cutting boards, coffee grinder, electric tea kettle, blenders, cast iron skillet and dutch oven. First floor also includes a windowed half bath. House is accessed through an electronic door lock and has central heating/cooling.

One staircase leads down to the basement which we have set up as a work space for my husband and an additional laundry/storage room with a dehumidifier.

The other leads to the second floor where all 3 bedrooms and full bathroom are located. We have one room set up with a queen bed for guests, the other as an office and the bright front room we share with our 10-month-old son. Each bedroom has a closet and overhead storage space which we will have cleared for your use. Bathroom is on the smaller side but features a tiled bathtub and large shower head with good pressure.

Located in the Brewerytown neighborhood of Philadelphia, a convenient 20 minute walk from the Philadelphia Art Museum, Lemon Hill Park and Boathouse Row. Aldi's is the local grocery store and just around the corner. Whole Foods and Trader Joes within 7-10 min drive. There are many convenient bus lines that run right past our house.

There is some flexibility around the start and end date of the sublet, but we prefer to have one tenant/family for the duration. We do not own a TV, but you are more than welcome to bring your own! As new parents we have a ton of baby gear that we can clear (hello non baby ppl) or leave (if you just so happen to have a little tot) -- Stokke High Chair, Lovevery Play Sets, tons of books, Montessori wooden toys...you get the gist!

We have 3 plants that we hope you'd be able to water weekly - if this is a deal breaker we can see about housing them with friends but do slightly prefer to keep them in the house. Being our home and dear to us, we hope to find a tenant who can maintain a similar level of cleanliness and care for the place. I (33 yo she/her) met my husband (40 yo he/him) in Delhi, India while I was working for a textile company. We both work in the fashion production industry and travel regularly to India, where my husband is from. We welcomed our son in June 2024 and are eager to bring him to India to meet his large extended family. Our family loves good food, music, travel and nerding out about traditional textiles and art :-)
